Kevin Blackburn Photography is a family-owned and operated business that provides a full range of professional photographic services including, digital imaging, and graphic design for a variety of clients and events. Kevin and Tysha have a full time staff of three and a seasonal staff of contract photographers and support personnel that range from four to eight depending on our clients needs. With over 10 years experience as a professional photographer, Kevin can provide you with the highest quality imaging and personal service that you deserve.

Kevin Blackburn Photography’s clients have quickly grown to appreciate his unique style and creativity. Commercial Clients include Kenworth National, Litner POMA Ski Lifts, Media General. United States Air Force, Augusta Medical Center, Nissan South East, Ntelos, Wintergreen Resort, Seagrave Fire Apparatus, Greenville Transport, Martins Grocery, and a host of local and national clients. In comparison their wrk with weddings has resulted in becoming one of the most sought after photographers in the area and their availability for favorites dates are quickly filled as much as 12 months in advance. Kevin’s work has capture numerous awards and most recently Kevin was selected as the 2007 Valley’s favorite photographer by Media General and he was selected for the 2008/2009 Who’s Who of business and Photography

About Kevin

  Kevin’s interest in photography and design started at the age of 12 with the gift of a used 35mm camera and has never stopped. He spent his more formative years learning as he went and when he decided to enter the US air force he found the perfect opportunity to broaden his curiosity with a formal education. Kevin attended college while in the Air Force and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Print design with an additional degree in Applied science and logistics.

  While in the Air Force Kevin began working as a free-lance photographer and was contracted by Grand Forks Air Force Base as a special events and sports photographer.  Events photographed included the Air Force Ball 1997-1999, the Black and White Ball 1998-1999, the annual Chiefs’ Dinner 1998-1999

  Upon Kevin’s discharge from the Air Force, he returned home and continued to work as a freelance photographer, becoming the Chief photographer for Media General at the Waynesboro News Virginian. Kevin left Media General to work to pursue his dream in establishing his own Commercial photography and Design business. Kevin finally realized his dream and with the help of his family he founded Kevin Blackburn Photography Full time and has become one of the areas top and most sought after photographers.
